Noted Birds of Khijadiya Birds Sanctuary,Jamnagar in 2019

નમસ્તે મિત્રો, ફરી એકવાર આપની સમક્ષ ખીજડિયા પક્ષી અભ્યારણમાં અમે નોંધેલા પક્ષીઓની યાદી રજૂ કરતા ઘણો આનંદ અનુભવું છું. તા. 16 ફેબ્રુઆરી2019 ના દિવસે, હું અને મારો મિત્ર તોફિક બુખારી બંનેએ ખીજડિયા અભયારણ્યમા બર્ડ વૉચિંગ નું આયોજન કર્યું હતું. જેમાં અમને જે જે પક્ષીઓ જોવા મળ્યા તેની લિસ્ટ બનાવી. આ પહેલા પણ અમે માર્ચ 2017માં ખીજડિયાના પક્ષીઓની યાદી તૈયાર કરી હતી. આ બંને વર્ષની યાદી જોઈને અભયારણ્ય ના વિકાસનો તાગ લગવી શકો છો. ગયા વર્ષ માર્ચ- 2017 માં નોંધેલ પક્ષીઓ કરતાં આ વર્ષે વધુ 105 જેટલા પક્ષીઓ એક દિવસમાં જોવા મળ્યા.

ખીજડિયા પક્ષી અભયારણ્ય એ જામનગર જિલ્લામાં આવેલું છે. ખીજડિયા પંખી અભયારણ્ય 6.5 ચો.કી નો જૈવિક વૈવિધ્ય વિસ્તાર ધરાવે છે. જ્યાં આશરે 254 થી વધુ પ્રકારના પક્ષીઓ નોંધાયેલા છે. આ અભ્યારણ બે પાર્ટ માં વહેચાયેલું છે. અહીં માનવ નિર્મિત માટીના પાળાઓ ને કારણે, બે પ્રકારના પરિશર-તંત્ર નું નિર્માણ થયું છે. આ માટીના પાળાઓના કારણે વર્ષાદી પાણી ત્યાંજ આવેલા સમુદ્રમાં જતું અટકે છે અને મીઠા પાણીનું પરિશરતંત્ર બને છે અને સાથે જ પાળા ની બીજી તરફ દરિયાનું ખારા પાણીનો વિસ્તાર છે. આમ આ પાળા ઉપરના રસ્તે, આશરે 3 km ચાલતા અહીં ખારા પાણીના અને મીઠા પાણીના પક્ષીઓ એકી સાથે જોવા મળી જાય છે. સાથે સાથે ચેર, વિવિધ બાવળ, નદી સૂકતા બનતું ઘાસનું મેદાન વગેરે જંગલ પરિસર-તંત્ર ના લીધે, forest bird પણ જોવા મળે છે.

અમને જેમ જેમ પક્ષીઓ જોવા મળ્યા તે મુજબની લિસ્ટ બનાવેલ છે. અમુક પક્ષી ગુજરાતમાં જવલ્લે જ જોવા મળે અથવા જોવા જ નથી મળતા, તે પક્ષીઓ અમને સદ્ નસીબે. અહીં જોવા મળેલ હતા. સામન્ય રીતે જોવા મળી જ જાય, તેવા પક્ષીઓ એ દિવસે અમને અભ્યારણ માં જોવા ન મળ્યા, તેની પણ list અત્રે પ્રસ્તુત છે.

ખીજડીયા પક્ષી અભિયારણ્ય એ બે વિભાગ માં વહેચાયેલું છે. તેમાં થી પાર્ટ 1 અને પાર્ટ 2 એમ બે ભાગ પડે છે, ત્યાં બે પ્રકાર ના જલપલાવીત વિસ્તારો છે તેથી ત્યાં બને પ્રકાર ના પક્ષીઓ જોવા મળે છે.
